Duralay underlays are used in many of the world’s leading luxury hotels. Davos, in Switzerland, where the annual World Economic Forum is held, is the latest location to feature Duralay.
The spectacular, new InterContinental Davos has installed 7,000 square metres of Duralay HT Contract 475. The 4.75mm flat sponge underlay has been used in the hotel’s guest rooms, corridors and bars with a custom designed Axminster carpet from Ulster Carpets. The installation was carried out by a local flooring contractor, Schuster AG, St. Gallen.
InterContinental Davos is set in the spectacular Graubünden Alps, 1,600 metres above sea level. The 216 well-appointed and spacious rooms boast mountain and valley views. A modern, warm alpine feel is reflected in the interiors, underlined by high tech amenities creating an atmosphere of quiet elegance, privacy and comfort.
